Satin Weddings & Events

Congratulations on your engagement!

We want our clients to enjoy their engagement, and enjoy being in love, not become overwhelmed and stressed with planning a wedding. Remember, hiring our wedding planner doesn’t mean you lose all rights to planning your wedding. We will give professional, practical advice but never force our own opinion. It’s still your special day, and our qualified wedding planner will make sure your dream wedding is still the main focus throughout the planning process. Our Wedding Planner is not here to make decisions for you, but to guide and assist you in making informed decisions. Our training, knowledge, and experience will turn your dreams and expectations into reality.   We will help you host a beautiful and distinctive event.
With today's hectic lifestyles, hiring a professional to handle all the details of a reception is almost essential to ensuring a well-planned event. Research shows that the average wedding can take up to 300 hours to plan -that’s not counting the inevitable do-it-yourself projects that many brides will undertake. Our Wedding Planner is for busy couples with little time to spare to plan, have a lavish event, or for those who envision a wildly fantastical wedding and don’t know how to make it a reality.

If you have already chosen your vendors, Our Wedding Planner will happily coordinate your event and will be of significant help in handling the details.  We will create a reflection of your personality, present ideas and design a theme to your wedding.   You will feel secure there’s someone around for the week of or wedding day so that emergencies can be dealt with.  Our Wedding Planner will alleviate stress, allowing you to spend more time with family and friends before, during, and after the event. We are honest and will work long hard hours to create an emotional and lasting impression that you and your guests will remember for years to come.

Wouldn’t you rather shop for dresses while your wedding planner coordinates blocks of hotel rooms and arranges transportation for your out-of-town guests? We’ll assist you with tedious items such as addressing and mailing invitations, keeping track of guest responses, organizing what items need to be brought to your ceremony and reception, and managing the timeline of your wedding schedule.  Don’t let your mother, sister or best friend be responsible for supporting you and sharing in your day AND making sure the cake is delivered on time, the flowers are set up correctly, the right linens are on the table, the caterer is going to serve on time and the photographer needs directions. I cannot stress enough how at the very least a Day of Coordinator is essential.  We want you to have the wonderful day you’ve envisioned.

Our Wedding Planner is certified with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.  We are up-to-date with the latest trends, enabling us to provide you, our client, with invaluable knowledge. People describe us as creative, enthusiastic, dedicated, and detail-oriented. Most importantly, we truly care about your big day as much as you do!

With you all the way,
Marie-Christine Borruel
